Herman's Hermit's Crowd, 1967

CROWD AT HERMAN'S HERMITS CONCERT, DAVENPORT, IOWA, 1967 - I shot this while working for a little newspaper in the Midwest. My newspaper career came to an abrupt end when my friend Jim and I were fired for publishing a dirty poetry magazine. We took the severance pay, about $700, and moved to California to become hippies.
